June 2022 Best Zombie Reads

Are you looking for new apocalyptic books to read this summer?

June 2022 is going to be one of the best months for zombie books this year. Whether you’re looking for an old favorite or a new release, you have some great summer zombie books to choose from.

1. Wild Undead

Start your summer off with a zombie cruise in L.C. Mortimer’s Wild Undead. This book follows a group of vacationers who want nothing more than to survive the world of the undead, but there’s a problem: they’re trapped on a cruise ship. Grab your copy now on Amazon or borrow it for free with Kindle Unlimited.

L.C. Mortimer’s books are known for featuring a diverse cast of characters, and the Stay Dead series is no exception. This book features a Black main character, as well as main characters who are older than your average zombie survivor. For example, Greta is one of the main characters. Unlike Winter, who is in her early 20s, Greta is in her 70s but still fighting zombies like she’s 23.

2. Beyond Rainbows

Tiffany Erickson is nobody special. She’s just an ordinary person trying to live an ordinary life, but that’s nearly impossible when you live in a world ravaged by the undead. She roams through the free realms, hiding and living in the shadows of the impossible cities, until one day, everything changes. A lost child. An unimaginable note. A plea for help. Tiffany has a choice to make, but no matter what she chooses, she’s about to discover that she can no longer stay hidden in the shadows as the world rots away. She has to fight, but it could cost her everything.

If you’re ready to check out a zombie book with an unpredictable ending, check out Beyond Rainbows.

3. Just Another Day in the Zombie Apocalypse

This book is one of the longer zombie books you’ll come across. With more than 600 pages of adventures, you’ll have plenty of time to experience the apocalypse with these main characters. One of the most unique things about this book is that the characters each have very specific problems and past trauma. Topics include child loss, PTSD, war, asthma, and allergies.
